Today is World Ecolabel Day and to mark the occasion New Zealand’s premier ecolabel has released a study showing the powerful environmental effect of ecolabelled products.
An ecolabel specification that will encourage companies to reduce the amount of construction and demolition (C&D) waste going to landfill has been launched in New Zealand.
A reduction in construction waste going to landfill is a step closer, following the release of a draft specification recognising good environmental practice in waste management and minimisation.

The Global Ecolabelling Network (GEN), of which we are a member, has inaugurated World Ecolabel Day (WED) which will take place on 25 October this year.
